Wonderful downtown eatery in historic building, tastefully restored & spotlessly clean. Friendly fast service (we came in after lunch hours mid-week). Surprisingly large range & variety of food & drinks, well priced for serving size. Everything tasted great! Would definitely visit again when we’re in the area.
Robert Dietz once said “It appears this city is in a meteor crater”. I now make a similarly obvious statement in saying there is another great restaurant in Middlesboro. Ike’s offers a relaxed atmosphere with dishes made in-house that are an excellent change of course from fast food alley down the road. There can be some variation in availability of some menu items, I’m assuming because most, if not all, are created 10’ from you. Overall a great place to drink some beer and watch a game, as well as eat a lot of food.

A hidden gem away from all the fast food glut. Delightfully beautiful bar area that kept the feel of old downtown dining. The Beltline pizza was simple but wonderfully delicious. The crust has the perfect amount of char without being like a cracker and thankfully not greasy. No flavor dominated which allowed me to enjoy each ingredient's unique touch. The mac & cheese was a delightful surprise with white cheddar and parmesan creating a creamy texture over pasta that was just aldente enough without being over cooked. The star of the show though was the gorgonzola walnut campanelle. I approached this dish with trepidation but with the first bite I knew they knocked it out of the park. Instead of being an overpowering flavor, the gorgonzola is a delightful note in a small symphony of taste. Our wait staff was very friendly and acted like she wanted us to enjoy our meal.
My family brought me here for my birthday. It was a great time and we absolutely love the food! The big hot pizza oven was fun for the children to watch. We ordered the all-meats pizza, spaghetti with meatballs, white cheese flat bread, chicken wings, and some child menu items. You can't go wrong at Ike's! Dessert pictured is chocolate peanut butter cheese cake. Divine!
